This section outlines all current customer policies for rentals made through MontanaBoarders.com (MTBoarders for short). Each policy below should appear as an individual linked policy page on your Shopify site to comply with both user transparency standards and Google Merchant Center (GMC) guidelines.

1. Rental Terms & Agreement
Effective Date: April 2025
- You are 18+ years old and assume full responsibility for all rental gear.
- All equipment must be returned in the same condition it was delivered. Additional fees may apply for excessive damage, loss, or failure to return items.
- You agree to use the equipment safely and follow provided instructions.
- We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
A detailed waiver will be required at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancel 48+ hours in advance: Full refund
- Cancel within 24–48 hours: 50% refund
- Cancel under 24 hours or no-show: No refund
Weather exceptions: If MTBoarders cancels due to unsafe conditions, a full refund or reschedule credit will be issued.
3. Delivery, Setup & Pickup Policy
- Flathead Valley delivery, setup, and pickup: $35–$65 depending on location and duration.
- This may appear at checkout as a “Montana Setup Fee.”
- A contact person must be present at drop-off unless arranged otherwise.
4. Holiday Pricing Policy
Pricing may be adjusted during peak holidays due to limited inventory:
- Memorial Day Weekend
- 4th of July Week
- Labor Day Weekend
Final pricing will be confirmed during booking.
5. Damage Waiver & Security Deposits
- You are responsible for all equipment during the rental.
- Normal wear is expected, but loss or damage may incur fees.
- Optional protection may be offered for some items.
- Some rentals may require a refundable deposit.
6. Weather Conditions Policy
- If conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., lightning, wildfire smoke, high winds), we will reschedule or refund.
- No refunds for weather changes after delivery unless determined unsafe by MTBoarders staff.
7. Extended Rentals & Group Bookings
We offer custom rental packages for long-term and large-scale needs:
- Weekly and monthly gear bundles
- Resort or lodge outfitting
- Retreat, camp, or group event quotes

8. Photo Use & Social Sharing
If you tag @mtboarders in your public social posts, you’re giving us permission to share—unless you tell us otherwise. We love seeing the fun in action!
9. B2B Partnerships & Affiliate Program
We actively partner with:

- Tour operators & affiliate marketers

11. Insurance & Liability Disclosure
- We recommend you check with your property insurance provider before offering any equipment to guests.
- We do not offer third-party liability coverage for external renters.
- Custom arrangements may be available for resorts with existing policies.
